If I have to use an uninstaller I would use hxxp://support.eset.com/kb2289/#Windows10But I would like to have confirmation that it will actually work and that there is no other way.Since this is a beta product and it is about Windows 10.Besides that I submitted a support request to Customer Care. No answer yet.

A lot has changed since I reviewed version 4 of ESET's security suite in early 2009. However, there aren't a lot of differences to note in ESET Smart Security 5 ($59.99, direct; $79.99 for three licenses). It does include a kind of parental control now, but its antivirus didn't do nearly as well at protecting a test system from attack by my current collection of threats.

Intelligent firewall technology like that found in Norton and in Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 ($79.95 direct for three licenses, 3.5 stars) makes its own security decisions about the level of network and Internet access each program gets. By using a huge database of known good and bad programs along with behavior-based monitoring for unknowns they avoid foisting confusing firewall popups on the uninformed user.

If you switch the firewall from automatic mode to interactive mode, you'll get the traditional blizzard of firewall popups. Every new program attempting network access for the first time will generate a query demanding that you make the correct security decision. This isn't great, but it's better than the do-nothing default.

From other clients we have heard ESET Smart Security 5 supposedly was a pretty light program which was fast and effective protecting your computer from various infections. and since overnight pc repair were big proponents of Kaspersky Internet security, we did not pay too much attention to Eset smart security 5 until this case, when it was right in front of us.

now you can call me crazy, but I expect my anti virus & anti spyware protection software to protect me from various spyware, malware and other malicious code, that could compromise my security. Thus this was my expectation from Eset smart security 5. we thought there is no way there could be something. But once our options of clean up were exhausted, we decided to try malwarebytes and it came back with a stunning 199 infections the screenshot of which we also have available.

Of course most of those infections were adware related, but there were also several trojans in the registry and in application data folders. so we let you be the judge and decide if ESET Smart security5 is smart after all.

I guess my post/question here is twofold. Are antivirus programs preventing users from using their own certificates as authentication means to websites when this feature is enabled, and secondly, besides completely disabling the feature for every customer that calls in (note, these customers are small-to-large companies, under strict HIPAA and/or FCRA guidelines, I do not feel comfortable in encouraging disabling any security measures), is there another way, either in development of our product, or in the support of the customers, to get around this major roadblock? 2ff7e9595c
